Suzanne's Grooming Pad was established in October 2004.
I absolutely love dogs and have worked with them since I was 13 years old in boarding kennels. I decided to get into grooming at the age of 23 and trained at Scotgroom in Carluke whilst still working at the kennels. After a brief spell grooming at the kennels I decided to go it alone and set up at my mum's in Elderslie. My business went from strength to strength and in November 2008 I moved into my new shop in Kilbarchan which I love!
I also have a HNC in Animal Care which I obtained at Oatridge Agricultural College.
Kirsty my part time assistant has been with me since Dec 09 and is getting to know all my doggy clients, and humans too! She is a brilliant help to me and has fitted in perfectly. Kirsty is currently learning all the basics of grooming and is doing really well.
Harvey, my other assistant comes to work with me every day and loves nothing more than scrounging for food off of my clients! For those who don't know him Harvey is my 10 year old Lab!
